Retail stores provide excellent training grounds for managing high volume coffee and alternative brews. Management positions offer extensive performance management training in order to have the dream team you've always wanted.
Cons
This company, when called to support their diverse teams and staff throughout the marriage equality debate, refused. A meeting was held with all store managers and key upper management where we begged the CEO to publicly support the rainbow community within the company who were really struggling with abuse and poor mental health during the 3 months of debate in 2017. Merlo are not on board with equality, and that day there was a mass walkout. I never looked back. If you care about the ethics of the company you put your money into, please reconsider this ' family business' who don't value their staff at all.
