Pros

Trains employees very well. Vacation policy is very good - 15 days of paid time off, 6 sick days, and usually 2-3 floating holidays.

Cons

WFH USED to be great. It was very flexible, 8 days a month + 10 annual days. However, starting in 2024, all employees are required to be in-office on Tuesdays. Medpace likes to flaunt that they’re a flexible workplace, but requiring certain days to be on-campus days works against that ideology. Employee turnover is high, so often time, employees are being handed off projects from people leaving and those handoffs can be a mess. Starting pay is not that great. Also, the pay increase between entry level roles and Level I roles is significant, but then the increases between Level I to II is MUCH less

Medpace Response

We are proud of the flexibility and benefits that we offer and we have a designated team that regularly reviews our compensation and benefits to ensure we are being competitive within our industry. In regard to our new mandatory Together Tuesday, this is a day of the week to maximize collaboration and assure predictable interaction for all associates, including those who are completely office-based and for new joiners. Unlike many companies, Medpace has not reduced the number of work from home days available to employees. We appreciate your feedback!
