Pros

Found me a job I guess?

Cons

I was recruited for a contract position. Once I accepted the role I was encouraged multiple times to keep my recruiter updated about how I felt about the position and if I ever had any concerns to let them know asap. Jokes on me, as soon as I told them I probably wouldn't accept a position if they offered me one, they informed me I should cut my contract short, that I "shouldn't stay somewhere where I'm not happy." Me, being naive, and not enjoying the work, agreed and spoke with my on site manager. Turns out they had no intention of helping me find another job because I broke the contract. I certainly would've finished the contract and found another job before putting in my notice (obviously) but because I was manipulated by this recruiting company I ended up scrambling to find another job after I'd already put in my notice as my recruiter had advised me to do. Turns out most recruiting companies don't do stuff like this, my next recruiter was incredible and very empathetic with me. My recruiter with Medix seemed so kind, and really acted like she cared and was interested in how I fit in at my workplace. Turns out I think it hurts their bottom line if a contract employee fulfills their contract but doesn't stay on with said company. Do NOT trust these people with your livelihood or career
