Pros

$30 gym membership reimbursement. That’s about it. The only other pro is the work life balance… because there was never anything to work on

Cons

Think of the annoying girls in the annoying sorority in college that everyone secretly hated and think of the annoying guys in the annoying fraternity that everyone also secretly hated… those are the people that work at medix. Everyone is fake and will act like your best friend and then will talk crap about you the second you walk away. “Leaders” would make fun of new hires on the phone for the first time IN FRONT OF THEM. What kind of leader is that? I remember saying good morning to a “leader” on a different team one morning and she literally looked me up and down, smirked and walked right past me. The way the company was ran was quite literally hilarious. The CEO reminds me of Joe Biden. Never knows what he’s talking about, reads off a script during meetings and uses winds that are too difficult for him to pronounce, and talks in circles. Medix paints this picture and wants you to believe we are all one big happy “Ohana” (side note- I hate that word so much and how much it was casually thrown around). But in reality they don’t care about you. They only care about you if you’ve worked here for 5+ years, or if you pretend that you care about the leaders and their personal lives/families. They made us go into the office for what? So everyone can just sit around and not do anything for 8 hours? lol. Then they would get mad if you went into a small, quiet, secluded office to actually do work and make your calls in there because the pit was always so loud and obnoxious. They totally play favorites. If you’re not a favorite, you’ll be let go sooner than later. You could be the worst person on the team with no spread, no starts, and quite literally make 1 call a day and still keep your job over dedicated, hard working recruiters. I’ve seen it first hand. lol. Don’t even get me started on the pay. I was told I could make 100k my first year with commission. LOL. I made more money when I was working in college!! The base salary is actually quite insulting. So is the commission structure. It’s also hard to make money with there is no business or reqs to work on. Then your leaders would get mad at you and make rude comments during team meetings about “production” and what are we even doing to be “productive”. Idk? Maybe fire your underproducing sales people who are contributing absolutely nothing?
