Pros

Genuine people and relationships that you build.

Cons

Are you seeking chaos? Below-market compensation? How about the forced misrepresentation of culture by an out-of-touch management team? Well, you've got it all here. And before you think, "What is this person talking about? This company seems awesome"! Trust me, I thought the same thing. First off, the "CEO" knows best. He will exemplify this by overriding department heads, including managers, directors, VPs, and his puppet C-suite. The company had a pattern of hiring great people. The people working there are young, talented, creative, and caring. But they don't last long. How can you grow when you are micromanaged and questioned about every decision? I admired the brand before I worked here and was genuinely disappointed when I resigned. I will truly miss the relationships I shared with my colleagues, but most of them were gone before me. My advice to management? Work on retaining talent rather than replacing them with contractors who are there to collect a paycheck. Revisit the C-suite, the people, their goals and actions. Listen to your employees and let them do the job that they were hired to do. Lastly, to potential candidates, keep looking elsewhere. Your mental health is worth more than the workload, stress, and anxiety you'll deal with here.

Pros

* Catered lunches every day * WFH Fridays * Some really nice people

Cons

* Poor leadership that stems from the top, with the executive team patting themselves on the back while the teams under them are in chaos * Unclear priorities that change on a dime with the whims of upper management *Constant turnover of staff *Inflexible in office days and hours- but not for everyone * Weird feeling that you are being "watched" if you leave for lunch, or have friendships- they don't want people to acknowledge the mess the company is in * Definite feeling of cliques, where some people are favored and allowed flexibility and praise, and others they could care less when you leave *Tone deaf owner thinks this is a big happy family
