Pros

Benefits, 401K match, automatic stock after a certain amount of employment time. Depending on location management determines your experience.

Cons

Your managers really determine your experience. Each location is owned by someone who is a third party or partners with a third party. Corporate is there to protect their own assets which is not the employee. When ever you are faced with a write up and you want to challenge it NEVER do a peer review. The review is done by a team they blanket train on policy. As a server the only way to understand is by working in that environment. Your team should be able to speak and review but they are not allowed. You can do a review from your managers but it's like the police investigating the police. You will end up leaving with some type of discipline which means you can not transfer to another location for months. Currently due to a tight budget at an AIRPORT location they refuse to hire extra help to assist with things such as food runner or barback. This means your bartenders have to set up the bar, take orders, and sometimes if the one person that (has been food running for 25+ years needs a day or two off ) run their food. You have a revolving door or managers that come from other locations that were sinking ships. Trying to implement their aloof strategy on new minds that are old minds because they have been there for 10, 25, 40+ years in the same position. The GM of the hotel has been out for months on emergency health related issues. They have increased price of food, taken away discounts, set new policies around the food and kitchen. But again the managers are miserably there, missing in action when it matters, or just getting their feet wet so they do not know much outside of the schooling they just finished. Creating misery for those that work 10+ hour days but get no over time because in Georgia the only way to get overtime is to work over 40hours, so they will work you for 6-8 days straight then give you 3-4 days off. Truly a wear and tear on your mental and body.

Pros

Department is great! Hours are flexible with respect to workload. Career growth at the company is outstanding as long as you show dedication and commitment to the role.

Cons

"Full time" hourly employees face cuts during off seasons which makes the job posting information about full time hours unclear and is only addressed after the hiring process concludes during orientation and is not highlighted and often quickly discussed to stream light on the perks that do not calculate the negative impact on the factors left out after the fact.
