Pros

Free alcohol on Friday afternoons.

Cons

• Maropost destroyed the incredible culture that had been developed at the former company, Neto. • Management pressured staff to return to the office during Covid despite many being hired on WFH contracts. When asked why staff had to return, management repeatedly used "culture" as the reason but could not explain what they defined as culture. • What as once a proud local Brisbane company was primarily replaced with offshore staff, primarily in India. • Unrealistic workload for staff. A team of two handled the work of 3-4 people. When that team was reduced to 1 person, their workload was not lessened and the stress drove them to resignation. • When staff were being made redundant, the company made the error of removing the staff's access before telling them, and then gaslit those staff by blaming an IT outage (despite several staff in IT verifying the access being revoked too early). They dragged redundancy meetings over three to four days, and when they said they were giving staff a chance to fight for their jobs, they were only using that as an opportunity to gain feedback on the awful redundancy experience. • Some members of middle management were seen crying by staff due to unrealistic pressure from upper management.

My apologies in disagreeing completely with your review. Much of what you have stated is factually incorrect. As an organization, our team members' health and welfare comes first and we would never have requested the return of team members to the office during COVID. In addition, we have a very clear and fair process for redundancies. I can see that your time with us was not a good experience, however, it is unfair to provide misleading information on this review site.

Pros

The people actually on the front lines doing the work are smart, driven, and deeply committed to customers. When leadership stays out of the way, good work can happen.

Cons

The CEO treats the company like a personal vanity project, valuing optics over substance — plenty of smoke and mirrors, but not much real progress being made towards the company vision. Talented employees are not empowered with the resources, authority, or decision-making ability to influence real outcomes. They are routinely ignored, sidelined, or driven out when they speak up. Strategic priorities shift constantly based on leadership whims wasting time, money, and energy and driving up employee frustration. Even the most complex projects are dismissed as “easy,” and any progress is met with criticism rather than recognition. Credit is reserved for the CEO, while blame is quickly pushed down — or onto those who have (wisely) left the organization No empowerment, no resources, and no trust — just micromanagement. Extremely high turnover in leadership continually erodes stability and morale.
