Pros

To sign up for Glassdoor, it is required that you post a review, so I am, but I wanted to be up front in acknowledging that I am the CEO. In terms of the Pros of Market Track, the big one to me is that we are working in a dynamic marketplace amid a lot of change. With the marketplace changing so much between on and off line sales, and advances in digital marketing, its great experience to be working on new services like digital shelf and innovative new research methods like InfoScout. Working on new things in a changing marketplace is fun. (For the record, I gave us a 4 out of 5...we can always get better and I figured 5 out of 5 from the CEO was sort cheating...I also declined to rate the CEO!)

Cons

With change comes anxiety. We have added a lot of new elements to our business and while sometimes that change can be exciting, at other times it can be challenging. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, you would love it here. If stability is your thing, we may not be the best place for you.

Pros

- Great managers who take the time to listen to you - Intelligent co-workers - Transparent management, there are frequent check-ins and they are clear on what their expectations are of you - Adequate training - Work load can be heavy or light depending on how dependable you are. There's always something to be done and I've never really had any "slow" days - Compatible with being a part-time student - there are many people earning a second degree here and the company is extremely patient with them in terms of scheduling and working from home. this company seems to want its employee to constantly improve themselves - Emphasis on efficiency and improving processes. I've worked a many companies that do not value this as much as MT and it's very frustrating to feel like you aren't in control of what you're working with. The development team is very cooperative with people on making feature request or taking recommendations on making our software better. - Location at the Willis Tower is extremely convenient for Metra and El riders

Cons

- Okay work/life balance. Depending on how reliable you are, you may have dozens of people asking you little to big questions throughout the day. It's hard to simply leave work at work.
