Pros

This place is what I love about SMBs, its down to earth, clear expectations, and the day to day is interesting and I can clearly see I am providing value to the company and the business owners we work with. I came here from a fortune 100 and couldn't stand the red tape and politics you had to deal with on a day to day basis; I was just a number and worked in a cube. At MLS you are not just a number, you work in a nice office(window views, duel screen monitors, large offices, make my old cube look like a refrigerator box), and I consider my coworkers my friends who I can rely on. They do the whole free drinks and snacks, you can request certain items to be stocked etc. Free lunches provided once or twice a month as well with the occasional work celebrations(happy hour in the conference room type of stuff)

Cons

No working from home, I expected this to be the case, so it's fine with me, but I know its important to some people. Vacation time could be better, but there is unpaid time off to counter.

Pros

Monday thru Friday schedule with no weekends

Cons

No training provided even though you're told there will be, They literally laugh and say "OJT, sink or swim!!" Inner-office spousal arguments from owners during work hours Disconnected, non-communicating upper management No healthcare provided beside a HIPAA violating nurse on-call The business owner has sexually harassed female staff(settled out of court) He (owner)continually pushes his political and religious stance and all employees and sends crazy "prepare for bombings" emails Extremely unethical and will expect you to be as well

MLS Direct Network Response
2y
Every time we have to let somebody go, naturally they respond negatively. No one ever feels like they’re doing a bad job. The reality is we pay top dollar, have full health, dental, vision & life insurance all free to our employees, have a matching 401K, amazing Christmas bonus and take our entire staff to exotic places for our annual Christmas party which just happens to be in Hawaii this year. So the reality is everyone loves working for us until they are asked to leave. But I get it. No one ever gets fired and goes. "Yeah, I really deserved that. " But had this person actually done what they were supposed to and had we not received numerous complaints on this person they would still be employed with us. We certainly don’t let tenured people go without a lot of consideration. If you really want to know what this person thought about our company just look at the Google review they left about us . "MLS is a Great Credit Card Company to work with! The best rates, customer service and technical support around.I recommend this company to every business owner I know. They are pleasant to deal with and you actually get to speak to real people and not an automated service, which is rare these days. Thank you MLS." Posted by "SR" 6 years ago! Does this sound like an unethical company to you? So for the last 6 years this person loved us while she enjoyed 20% raises every year yet only when she is fired does she lash out with outlandish embellishments.
