Pros
Love the work itself, company seems concerned about its employees, very nice benefits. But I've only been employed a short period of time, so I'm not familiar with the politics yet. And sometimes it takes the negatives a while to appear.
Cons
My supervisor. He's been there since the beginning, so he knows a lot about the subject matter. But he doesn't have much in the way of "boss" skills. He's extremely critical and intimidating. Every day he complains about something I've done. Also, he denies things I'm saying as I say them! I can' t make a point or defend myself without being corrected. There's no winning. I've heard through the grapevine that people have left because of him. I believe it. I hope I don't turn out to be one of them.
Also, it's been a short while, but the people I work with directly aren't the most friendly bunch. They will make lunch plans literally right next to my cubicle and not invite me along. Maybe I just need to give it more time.
