Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lynn Valley optometry. It’s a fantastic clinic that is highly specialized and allows you the freedom to help patients you want to. I learned so much and fully credit my time at LVO for helping shape me into the optician I am. The staff all become like family- management had a really great way of finding people who worked amazing together.

Cons

The boss is always on his phone, even when asking to speak with you. You can be worked too hard for your pay grade without getting the proper compensation. The patients at the clinic can be overly demanding and management has bent over backwards for people who should not have been allowed to conduct themselves in a disrespectful manner

Pros

fellow co-workers are amazing and fun to work with. The only thing missed about this place

Cons

Management was verbally abusive to his fellow workers, his family members who come in as patients are as well. Other management who replaced a lovely person loves to pick favourites and don't appreciate people who are picking up the slack of others.

Pros

There are no pros to working here

Cons

Like everyone else says - this place is toxic. You will not be trained and then will be criticized for asking questions and asking for support. Management is more interested in gossiping about you than supporting you. It’s so ironic how one of their core values is to “value people”. You will not be valued here. Everyone who sets foot in this place, whether they are a patient or an employee, is viewed as a number . This is gravely concerning in a health care facility. It speaks to the owners motivation as a doctor - profit is more important than patient care.
