Pros

On my first day at Luminess, right off the bat the staff was very friendly and respectful! The management team always greet the employees and make us feel at ease. Of course, with being a newcomer, you're always nervous like it's your first day of school, but the welcoming team let me know that everything is going to be okay and suddenly I felt comfortable in the environment. I feel that what makes Luminess is the team works together and has each other's back! The management team is always motivating us and encouraging us to do better and congratulating us and telling us to keep up the good work. Just those words of encouragement made me feel more empowered and pumped! The positive work environment has pushed me to try even harder to be better in and outside of work! The office is designed so fancy and nice and we get top notch equipment to make sure we have all the tools to do our jobs. Another perk is the company added touchless sinks and toilets to help keep us safe during this pandemic. I have worked with Luminess over 4 years and can honestly say that it has become my second home and family. I am proud to say that Luminess has made me a better person I gained so much experience over the years. I used to be so shy, but with constant encouragement and belief in me, I am now wiser and more confident than ever!

Cons

No company is perfect. But do wish that our building had elevators.

Lack of Structure: There are no clearly defined job roles, responsibilities, or processes. Employees are frequently shifted from one task to another with little notice or explanation. Unethical Practices: Leadership directs staff to engage in behavior that raises serious ethical concerns. This includes instructions that put employees at risk. Toxic Leadership: Feedback is not welcomed, and decisions are made impulsively, often creating unnecessary chaos and stress. No Accountability: There is no HR department or effective internal oversight. Policies are either nonexistent or ignored. High Turnover: The result is a culture of fear, confusion, and burnout.
