There was little career advancement in my time for any employee whilst i was there. Luxury retail has a ridiculous expectation on its sales assistants to hit targets. I found that breaking into the company family (being a smaller group) much harder than usual as the majority of people working there had been so for x amount of years. Politics was definitely rife here.
