Pros

- Beautiful brand and products - Some colleagues are really nice -Prestigious brand

Cons

- Management: the worst I have ever met. Totally unsupportive. You are abandoned from day one, they make you shadow people who either have no idea what customer service is or have no intention of teaching you anything and treat you like you are a retarded. - COMMISSION is a joke. Pennies and nothing more. - You can't book your holidays when you would like as they have so many restrictions it only leaves you with the dates the want to begin with. - Overtime is not paid even though on the contract it says they do, and keep in mind you will ALWAYS finish 30 mins to one hour after the end of your shift. - If you call sick because of something that happened at work (back injury in my case) they will rudely ask for a doctor's note and not even bother to ask how you are (they should only require a doctor's note after a week, not after a day). -You are lucky if you get a line manager, I didn't have one and had no point of contact for anything I needed as NO ONE will help. - When closing you are always expected to stay an extra 20-25 mins (again unpaid) even though there is absolutely nothing to be done AT ALL. - I was not given my entire uniform even after two months but they would always comment on what you were wearing. The only shoes provided to me had high heels and hands down KILLED my back. - Expected to contact "clients" everyday to invite them to events. And I mean EVERYDAY. They expect this of you even if you have just started and have no company phone. What a joke. - The most racist company you will ever come across: if you are asian you will be discriminated against and labelled as a reseller even if you are a genuine client. I could go on for days... Beware, if you think you are joining a luxury brand think again. There's nothing luxurious in the way you are treated and I thank god I have left quickly as there were worrying signs. My experience is based on what I have seen in Selfridges London (Ground Floor) but it could be different in other stores and as a matter of fact the MEN'S department on the first floor is a lovely place with comptent management (Phillip is incredible).
