Very little respect for entry-level employees - Tutor Link-Systems International Employee Review

Late paychecks. The owner seems to have the managers on direct deposit, but still uses old fashioned checks for lower employees. This seems to be a strategy on his part, as he has been known for being late on paychecks. There was recently a very heated review on this site that the CEO took down and plastered with astroturfing, and I know this because the CEO sent a mass email to the entire company letting everyone know about it. I'm still not sure why he decided to advertise dissent to his employees. Also, there is no additional pay for increasing workload. For example, a bilingual tutor will get paid the same rate as a basic English or math tutor, even though they have qualitatively and quantitatively higher workloads. This seems to be a very big issue for some in the tutoring room, which makes morale as a whole take a nosedive during the busy season.
