Pros
Some good people at the regional level, able to build a sense of camaraderie around the continuous failures and poor business decisions of corporate. Reasonable pay to those with little experience.
Cons
Those in leadership roles are clearly unfit for them, promoted based on a sense of internal favoritism versus merit. Years of strategic confusion led to many poor real estate decisions, driven largely by the ineptitude of those entrusted to manage. No incentive for real success. Poor sense of identity.
