Pros

Good salary, flexible work arrangements, good work/life balance, interesting roles if you can get them.

Cons

Unfortunately, it's become increasingly apparent that leadership is full of executive hubris. There is little to no transparency around decision making, the decisions made are often confusing without rationale, and there is little ownership of mistakes at the upper levels. It's tough to get promoted if you're not in the "old boys club", especially at higher levels - you often see the same subset of people get rapidly promoted while others flounder in middle management. Finally, while the company touts that they embrace new technology and innovation, they rarely make big bets and move quickly to seize opportunities.

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
