Pros

Great pay for students that have no job experience. Great experience as far as working on site with NASA.

Cons

If you degree is not engineering or IT.....FIND ANOTHER INTERNSHIP. The companies that they are partnering with are just using LZ as write offs for grant money from the state. If you are not pursuing a degree with the two I mentioned your internship is pointless. The money they pay you is good but the experience is not going to help you get into the career you want. You can easily go ANYWHERE and get the normal office duties in a better place that will MOST likely hire you after graduation. You would think the company would actually take the advice from the exit interviews of students and better choose contracting companies that work for NASA, but they really don't care about the students. Don't waste your time here UNLESS you really need the money. If possible, go with a non-paid internship to get your experience when you graduate. They don't even check your GPA when they hire you!!! This shows that they don't care about the students. Just there for the money. REAL internships programs check everything because they want to help students.

Pros

Grad student wage was decent, the matching process for placing me in a team was great. They also gave the opportunity to sign up for their 401k if you were over 18 years old. You are also able to work with them to tailor your work schedule for the semester which helps to balance work and school based on how busy your course load is.

Cons

Nothing really. It is a very intense work, but as long as you are prepared and expecting it, you should be fine. The only downside that I can think of is that they are still developing how they integrate the intern community experience. But it wasn't that big of a deal, just could use some help.
