Pros

Good people and some of the store management really cares. Some of it, however, does not.

Cons

Management is beholden to a corporate that seems to hate its employees, running skeleton crews and STILL cutting hours to the point where some departments don't have people in them for entire days. Adjacent departments are, of course, expected to pick up the slack even though they are also desperately understaffed. Anti-employee practices such as increasingly draconian rules on where it is possible to have a drink on standby for a manual labor job in an un-airconditioned department sandwiched between 5 industrial ovens. Employees are all so depressed with the conditions that customers can visibly see it and have remarked on it.

Pros

• Generally work with fantastic people. • Work is not difficult, and time flies when busy. • My bosses collaborated with me to create a schedule that worked, as I often had other commitments. • Overall, a pleasant work experience most days. Get good at what you do and you'll do fine.

Cons

• Some of the senior management was less friendly than others - as to be expected. • Days were very volatile; some could be extremely easy, and others could be a nightmare. • Scheduling was kept rather limited; although I was able to get the hours I wanted, often times management would look to cut hours from departments whenever possible, leaving less support.
