Pros

Kroger is building to a well organized central support model with limited onsite support needed.

Cons

Kroger has not reached its goal of having adequate central support for remote sites yet and has already reduced staff as if it exists. This causes overburden on remote sites and requires a high level of expertise regardless of background and training and causes excessive demand on a small staff.

Pros

• Generally work with fantastic people. • Work is not difficult, and time flies when busy. • My bosses collaborated with me to create a schedule that worked, as I often had other commitments. • Overall, a pleasant work experience most days. Get good at what you do and you'll do fine.

Cons

• Some of the senior management was less friendly than others - as to be expected. • Days were very volatile; some could be extremely easy, and others could be a nightmare. • Scheduling was kept rather limited; although I was able to get the hours I wanted, often times management would look to cut hours from departments whenever possible, leaving less support.
