Pros

Flexible schedule, 100 dollar bonus every now and then.

Cons

-Strict dress code, especially for people just leaving school then going to work. No ripped pants, no crocs (open toed shoes), no shirt with logos or anything. I’ve never had customers talk about my attire so it doesn’t bother them so why so important to the higher ups. I would like to be comfortable in ripped jeans since that’s mostly what I have. I don’t have money to buy new clothes since the pay is so low. -pay is horrible for the amount of work you do and how you’re treated. 10.75 when Walmart pays over 11 an hour. -You deal with annoying customers and you have to put up with it. -management is a pain in the butt, they’re never happy even though they barely pay you anything. Why would I work my butt off for a job that doesn’t value me enough to pay me a decent wage. -training does nothing, I didn’t even get to finish it and it was so boring. You have to learn as you go or just figure it out like I had to with self checkout. -union, they have our wage stuck so low because of contracts. -pay raise, I was supposed to get a few cents pay raise but I haven’t seen that yet. I shouldn’t have to talk to a higher up every time something That SHOULD (promised) doesn’t happen. I had to go through hell and back for my employee discount that isn’t even worth the struggle. You only get 20% off Kroger brands and sometimes they have 20% off things like home goods Every now and then. Majority of things aren’t Kroger brand. I hate it here and can’t wait to quit. Walmart is better.
