      Pros

      At the retail level, most of the employees worked very hard and gave the impression that they wanted to be there (even if that wasn't the case.) Plus our store was very busy, so I pulled 30 hours a week. (As a teenager in high school!)

      Cons

      Kroger is notorious for not caring about their employees. I'd frequently see older people sick and still forced to come to work. It's a humbling job though, and seeing this made me want to work harder.

      Pros

      10% discount on all kroger branded items $17.25 per hour is one of the better wages in the area when compared to competitor stores

      October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
