      Pros

      Good for a part time job while you're in school or in-between jobs or something, but not a great place for long-term employment. They'll move you around from department to department if you are decent at your job and show some initiative.

      Cons

      It is a physically and emotionally draining job to deal with the public like that when you are getting paid next to nothing. Sometimes your coworkers are happy and motivated, but most of the time they just talk about how much they hate their job.

      10% discount on all kroger branded items $17.25 per hour is one of the better wages in the area when compared to competitor stores

      October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
