Pros

Great product and engineering team. Innovative engineering culture.

Cons

- Executive management has lost focus with too many experiments with GTM model / constant re-organization - Lost key members of executive management due to personal conflict - Missed best window of opportunity to take the company public or to be acquired. Sold the company for a small fraction of what it was worth at its best - Lack of customer focus has led to loss of customer confidence - Highly political with internal strife - Very little understanding of markets outside the US - GTM talent is not valued - Increasing negative sentiment across teams - Poor work-life balance

Thank you for weighing in and sharing your thoughts about our products and innovate culture. This is core to who we are and the Mobilizers who work here. We do agree that we are regularly tweaking the go-to-market model just as all hyper-growth companies do. Regarding our acquisition by Temenos, Kony shareholders and analysts would seem to respectively disagree, with the commentary indicating this is a fair price according to industry norms, and that this is a great marriage propelling the unified organization to even greater heights in the future. Pros

The employees are great. Most people are very smart and passionate about what they do. In the time I was there I never had any problem working with anyone in the company. Always someone to go to lunch with and lots of staff drinks after work (mostly organized by staff and not management) Good flexibility for work-life balance...for some people

Cons

- Disorganized. - Not diverse. - No support for career advancement/training/certification/education - Totally inconsistent with a lack of focus. Strategic direction seems to change every 6 months and it never makes complete sense. - Leadership is tone deaf to the market and is not willing to adapt. Stubbornness is why nothing is selling and the company is falling apart. - Top Leadership doesn't engage with employees unless they feel like they have to. - HR is beyond useless and gossips about EVERYONE. There is no confidentiality in HR. - Lots of recent turnover with long time employees because of messed up operations and managers egos. - LOTS of people have left to go work for the founder of Kony at his new company, or they left to go back to their old jobs. - TERRIBLE operations. Travel policy is crazy!!! Some people can't afford to come out of pocekt and be reimbursed for almost everything. $7k in expenses for travel is ridiculous!
