Pros

The MBM philosophy has been a huge help with this place, though it has its drawbacks. The ability to set your role within the company is nice, even if there are two exact positions you are able to craft your role into a specialized one if you want. There aren't any pay caps on positions, though you have to fight to get what you want.

Cons

Terrible training program, it's often laughed about around the offices from here to Wichita. You'll watch someone do your job for about a week and expected to master it on your own. Trust me, I'm all about learning but there are some specialized processes within Koch that you'll need mentoring with. The pay is probably below market, they think that their benefits are top notch but in Houston, TX....they are just about the norm. For a company that prides itself on a market based philosophy, they really need to realize not a their offices are in BFE Kansas, where they can name their own game. Management perceives a "manageable" load to mean your swimming under water. By this I mean, when you feel you are just completely swamped, have phone and email ringing off the hook, that's manageable to them. If this sounds great to you, this your place. Personally, I am all about working my butt off and proving my worth but this place doesn't value that kind of dedication.

Pros

Good insurance. The Atlanta office was more flexible with remote/hybrid work

Cons

The politics. People devalue teammates. Constantly changing direction so no meaningful impact can be made. Not a lot of diversity. If you don’t ask how someone’s kids are, you get complaints that you’re cold and difficult. Got there and a reorg killed the reason I was hired and was never provided with any sort of hope of growth opportunities.
