Pros

This company is part of group of much larger companies involved in petro-chem industry. Large size allows for good benefits. Public transit is outside the factory, and is inside Toronto.

Cons

The management act like high school children, secret cliques backstabbing other people. The new employees are set-up as fall guys when leadership messes up. Leadership is afraid of the shop supervisors, so nothing changes and this company is stuck in same condition for passed 10 years. The shop is dirty and run down, BIRD POOP is a big problem. VERY COLD in winter.

Pros

Paycheck with benefits. Always work available. 60h max work.

Cons

Lots of games all over. The newest guy always gets the blame. Blame is a currency in this place. NO ONE LASTS HERE- 2x every year they keep changing Buyer and Manufacturing Supervisor. The plant floor looks like a car mechanic's mess.

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about our Toronto location. Koch companies have a presence in more than 60 countries worldwide, so we constantly depend on a respectful challenge process to help identify potential areas for improvement. All employees are encouraged to share concerns directly with their supervisors or HR leaders. Our Guideline resource is also available for those who prefer to communicate anonymously. Staying informed helps us to better evaluate each unique circumstance and ensure that our values are upheld everywhere we operate. We agree that hiring the right people, retaining them, and continuing to develop their skills and knowledge is essential for long-term success.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Solely on a pace basis, the work isn’t as stressful as other kinds of industries. The plant isn’t the middle of nowhere.

Cons

The work IS stressful because of the childish politics in the company. You spend more than half your day Covering Your Behind.. The MBM philosophy talks of “Innovation”, yet this company is so Change Averse, and quick to blame on mistakes. There’s little focus on lessons learned and new ways to rectify things, the focus is on Who’s Fault Is It ?
