Great local team, convenient office location

Cons

Major communication issues (or lack thereof) between NZ and head office in Sydney. HR department is effectively non-existent and company structure was subject to constant change.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback, we're so sorry to hear that you felt that communication wasn’t up to scratch. Since you left, we’ve been working hard to improve communication between NZ and Australia through regular virtual meetings, newsletters and intranet updates, and we’ve also appointed an editorial manager in Sydney to clarify any confusion about reporting lines. Pros

I joined Key Media in June of 2021 and I've had an amazing working experience so far! As someone with a marketing background I was looking for more creative freedom, and that is exactly what I got! Management is very empowering and helps you reach your goals, but gives you the flexibility and creative freedom to work on projects without being micro-managed. Plenty of opportunities for growth within the company as well. HR was very helpful with on-boarding and connecting me with staff I would be working with on a regular basis. Overall I am extremely happy with Key Media and look forward to growing my career here!
