Pros

Simply none which is shocking.

Cons

Where should I start? 1- This company is structured in a way to depend on the cheap workforce in Manila and India and they don't care about any local Canadian talents so keep that in mind before you join. 2- They don't trust their employees and they run the company the same as a prison. They install monitoring software on your laptop and add browser extensions which state clearly that they have permission to read your browsing history, manage your apps, and communicate with cooperating native applications. Bottom line you are always being watched with zero privacy. 3- Management is a complete joke. They are all overseas, they don't give you any guidance or clarity yet they expect you to perform and deliver while watching you very closely. 4- Benefit plan is very bad. I don't recommend anyone to work here. Don't get fooled by the pool table and beer. It's just a decoy.

Pros

Employees are friendly, warm and welcoming. A young bunch of bright individuals, looking to succeed in their careers and future endeavours.

Cons

On paper it may appear to be a culture anyone would like to belong to but the reality is less rosy than the outlook suggests. The leadership team is not receptive to new ideas or internal innovation, as they will tell you the task at hand, can only be done the ‘KMI way’. In the interview they tell you what you want to hear and it no time it’s evident KMI it’s a cold unwelcoming place of superiority, favouritism and unrealistic expectations due to inconsistent goals and policies. Expect to be monitored; from your computer log times, to your call times, including Skype, email and your physical computer will be checked regularly. KMI treats subordinates like children, which probably has more to do with their insecurities than their employees shortfalls. To summarize KMI is a place with: 1. Communication problems 2. Inconsistency in policies/ employee expectations 3. Immature Leadership 4. Low morale and high turnover 6. Transactional vs. consultative selling styles My suggestion for you job seekers… look elsewhere.
