Pros

1. Boring work but you would hear a lot about HHarvard's education of founders.

Cons

1. Directionless management 2. Engineering is rarely heard 3. The codebase is riddled with tech debt 4. No clear idea of how to promote people 5. With a team of single-digit people, they lost 5 people since Jan 2024

Pros

You get to work with smart people in an exciting industry in a well funded startup. You will hopefully learn a lot and it's a good product.

Cons

High turnover caused by poor management. The founders (who are the only senior management) have little SaaS experience and are neither technical nor SMEs in ESG and therefore are unable to appreciate / reward quality work. In fact they actively make you feel small and under-appreciated despite working very hard and producing high quality work (as confirmed by everyone else but them). You are not listened to and it can go days without hearing from them. This creates a stressful environment and low morale eventually leading to people leaving, Most people make it about a year, no one has made it longer than 3. There, sadly, is a massive disconnect between the team and management, larger than I've seen in companies 5x the size. It's frankly just poor leadership and poor people management from people who don't act or seem like tech founders. I hope it improves because there is great potential in the product and company

Pros

Great team and challenging work! Everyone brings a different perspective to figuring out problems and solving them. People are flexible, helpful and thoughtful in their work. We're encouraged to find and use the latest tools available like AI tools. And this is all across the team, not just engineering. You are given a lot of autonomy. Regular socials and off-sites to get to know the team outside of work. Sounds like there were some folks who weren't super happy earlier but things have been different for a while now, in my experience :)

Cons

Can be process heavy at times, but this helps to build clarity and speeds things up usually.
