Pros

KFM has a strong organisational culture and clear values. There are excellent opportunities for learning and development, along with good support within your role. Work flexibility is also a benefit, particularly for those in hybrid administrative roles. In addition, we have a supportive and engaged senior leadership team.

Cons

Salaries are somewhat borderline and could be more competitive, particularly for those not in frontline or functional roles. Roles in more competitive areas should be aligned with current labour market rates to attract and retain talent. There are also some barriers to career progression, which could be reviewed to provide clearer pathways for development and advancement.

Pros

Good people to work with. Salary was not to bad. Bonus each year. Overall felt I was respected in my role.

Cons

To do well in your appraisal sometimes requires things that were you were not made aware of until the mistakes have already happened. Just needs more clarity on all aspects of the role beyond the ordering and putting away. The policy's of the job in general are hard to find, or lack information on certain topics such as pay journeys etc. Needs to be more clear and policy's need to be easily accessible.

Pros

> founding management team started off with a mix of agile work place culture and traditional nhs way of doing things. >

Cons

> not too many options to grow / >cost cutting initiatives implemented just for the sake of it vs. looking at the bigger picture/ >no breath of freshness ( of ideas or ways of doing work) - hesitant in trying out new techniques/challenges >has lost much outside customers so not much variety in terms of offering >too much spend on improvement initiatives without conversion for the long term
