Pros
As a woman, I highly value integrity and a positive atmosphere in the workplace, and I'm happy to say that JPP provides both in spades. The team leads are predominantly women, which creates a truly female-centric environment that is rare in Pakistan. One of the thing that makes JPP what it is, is the incredible executive director, Sarah. Not only is she an amazing leader and a powerhouse in the field, but she also goes above and beyond to support and uplift other women. Sarah consistently goes out of her way to mentor and guide young women in the organization both professionally and personally, and she always makes time to listen and offer advice. Given the nature of JPP's work ie fighting for death row inmates, sometimes, my work was intense and fast paced as the stakes were so high. However, that provided me with a steep learning curve and challenged me to grow and learn quickly. The two year at JPP also enabled me to win a fullbright scholarship. I am truly grateful for the opportunity at JPP and especially Sarah's role in my career advancement. And the reason I am writing this review now, is because of the recent inaccurate depiction of the work culture st JPP and Sarah as a boss and mentor.
Cons
None, I loved it and made so many friends there.
