Pros
It really is just a job. You get a 40% discount on all merchandise; though products are not always appealing. The variety of customers is interesting. You learn how to hustle. You learn what you don't want in your future jobs.
Cons
Sock to shoe sale ratio is insane; you end up forcing people into buying socks or it's a strike against your job. Sure "everybody needs socks" but come on. Turn over is incredibly high. The variety of customers is interesting. You get minimum wage plus "commission". I say "commission" because it's a twisted system with overly complicated explanations where you never really end up earning more than minimum wage. One screw up in the warehouse and you have to re-do an entire wall of shoes.
