A Toxic Culture Disguised as “Company Values” – My Worst Career Move - Customer Service Joblogic Employee Review

Pros

I will miss some people there, but nothing else

Cons

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Joblogic was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. The company presents itself as caring and people-focused, but the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. Micromanagement is constant, and the environment is driven by fear rather than trust. The directors are focused on profit above all else, and that attitude filters down through the organisation — from VPs to managers — creating a culture that feels cold, pressured, and disingenuous. The so-called company “culture” is, frankly, a façade. Behind the corporate slogans lies an environment where stress and anxiety are the norm, and I personally became unwell due to the constant pressure and negativity. The Customer Success team, in particular, was one of the most difficult groups I’ve ever worked alongside — often more interested in complaining and pointing fingers than collaborating. Meanwhile, the leadership team surrounds themselves with family members and loyalists who act as enforcers rather than leaders, creating a sense of division and fear. The Pakistan-based staff are treated poorly, and it’s clear there’s a lack of respect or equality across offices. HR exists purely to protect the company, not the employees, and anyone expecting genuine support will quickly realise how one-sided that relationship is. There’s also a strange, bootlicking culture online, where managers and staff constantly flood Slack and Teams with exaggerated praise and gpt copy-paste cringe posts. It feels artificial — more about maintaining appearances than celebrating anything real. The CEO often delivers big speeches about how “the company wouldn’t be here without the staff,” but the reality on the ground is long hours, unrealistic workloads, and no genuine appreciation. The recent investment has only made things instantly worse, with warnings that “standards are getting stricter” — in other words, more pressure, less support. As for pay, don’t expect regular reviews or cost-of-living increases. You’ll likely have to fight for any raise, and most people don’t win that battle. Over time, your salary becomes worth less while the company boasts about record growth year after year! Leaving Joblogic was the best decision I ever made. I now have a healthy work-life balance, the same pay, and genuine respect in my current role. If you value your wellbeing and integrity, think twice before joining Joblogic and read the good reviews carefully - you'll work it out. What they promise and what they deliver are two entirely different things.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your time at Joblogic left you feeling this way and we regret that your experience did not reflect the culture we work hard to create. At Joblogic, our goal is to build an environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and able to thrive. Feedback such as yours is taken very seriously as it helps us to understand where we need to improve. While many of our employees share positive experiences, we also recognise that no workplace is perfect and we are committed to listening and making changes where they are needed. We are particularly concerned to hear that you felt under pressure and not supported. This is not the experience we want for any member of our team. We are continuing to strengthen communication, improve opportunities for development and ensure that all colleagues, wherever they are based, feel respected and empowered. Although it is disappointing that you did not feel able to raise these concerns with us during your time here, we are grateful that you have shared them now.
