Pros
First, the obvious "Pros" that everyone can agree to: * Lunches are provided via Seamless. * The DC office has a great culture. Even 6 months after I quit, I still meet w/ everyone in this office at least once or twice a month. * Unlimited PTO. Just make sure to get it approved in advance. So, why did I quit? At the beginning of 2015, the Jibe was was completely out of touch about the direction of its products. Metaphorically speaking, they were focusing on building a new deck while the rest of the house was on fire. After numerous discussions w/ the leadership, it was clear that they simply were not going to realign their priorities. So, it was time for me to move on. So, why is this listed in the "Pros" section? A few months after I left, Jibe had its first round of layoffs. The leaders that were most directly responsible for Jibe's misguided priorities were among those that were laid off. Additionally, there has been a massive restructuring of the Product Team. This team now includes members that have been on the front lines of the customer integrations; hence, they are acutely aware of the house fires. They have started defining (and delivering upon) actionable objectives that aim to address these house fires. In short, I believe that Jibe has laid the groundwork for long-term improvements. I hope they can continue moving in that direction.
Cons
As you can gather from the other Glassdoor reviews, there is currently a lot of uncertainty about Jibe's future. People are leaving, and morale is low. But, these are ultimately just the consequences of the underlying issues. Once the underlying issues are addressed, things will turn around pretty quickly. My thoughts about Jibe's underlying issues have already been communicated to the company in private. Hopefully they have found some of these to be helpful.
