Pros

Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable administration staff Benefits package was generous

Cons

Awful atmosphere of harassment and bullying from seniors and team managers. In fighting between managers made regular staffs life more difficult. Not open to change or improvements in processes. Unrealistic targets leading to a poor work life balance. Often worked 10 to 12 hour days in order to clear my work load and ensure my team didn’t miss SLA’s. This includes team managers who would also work far more than they should, including working from home at 5/6am before coming in. Time management systems (Practice Engine) causes you to spend more time trying to justify how you have spent your day than actually working. Every minute of your day must be accounted for. Need a cup of tea, put down 5 minutes against a client so you have 35 hours of chargeable work to show at the end of the week.

Pros

People. Culture. Client relationships. JLT Re is a place for really good, talented people who want to develop strong internal and external relationships. JLT Re also encourages thinking outside the box and is looking for new ideas and ways of doing things.

Cons

Flat organization. Low salary bumps for non-producers currently. Internal politics. Your salary is largely dependent on your experience and your manager’s ability to fight for you to get what you deserve up the chain.
