Pros

The actual job (IWOC) is pretty cool. It’s very interesting and spending time offshore seeing how things work is actually fascinating. That’s the only pro. The only place I would recommend to work under would be Scott which is the selling manager.

Cons

This place has a very toxic environment. People have a mentality that they will climb alerting on your back. Will backstab you any chance they get. Very poor management. Poor communication from the engineers, to upper management to shop supervisors which ends up hurting the technicians on a day to day basis. There’s a lot of favoritism in this job and nepotism. Everyone is pretty much related which makes this a poor work culture, environment. I saw a recent job post for service techs which says “28 days” offshore. That’s a straight up lie. If there’s no reliefs you’ll be out there for 40+ days. I was given the “this is a family” speech during my interview. Yeah, I don’t want any part of it. Theres a high turnover for this position for a reason. -Racism is a real thing in this place. Previous general manager was fired because of it. This work place did not have a bullying/harassment policy until 2023. If that says anything.

Pros

great people to work with and the work ethic of a cohesive team is the best. day in and day out, work seems to fly by.

Cons

the only bad part (if any) about working at this company is that the communication between the United States office and the united kingdom offices. the United Kingdom shuts down at 11am CT.
