Pros

1. Learning opportunities in Fin-tech and invoicing solutions. 2. Multiple teams to work with, gives an opportunity to manage people and assess yourself on key indicators 3. Small Group - You will get enough chances to speak up your mind. This can help individuals to take more ownership and accountability.

Cons

1. The parent company has multiple other business acquisitions, so they are cheap on everything possible and try to find ways to frustrate the employees. 2. Very average health insurance, no RRSP or other monetary benefits. 3. Bonus is quite less so it would be again frustrating for employees to receive an inadequate acknowledgment for their efforts. 4. The top management recognizes the issues but hardly makes any changes to resolve.

Pros

- Work from home - everything is based is a virtual environment with the ability to access information from anywhere - Quarterly, activities such as lunches or events outside of work.

Cons

- No company environment - No sense of direction from management. You are on your own. - Doesn't feel like a team environment, rather everyone is out for themselves. - You are scrutinized for every little thing and are questioned consistently. - Turnover is very high. Being a company of only 15 employees, 7-8 employees had either resigned or been let go within a one year period because they didn't meet there "standards". - Expectation were unrealistic, thus employees were very lucky to have made it past the 3 month probation period. - Trust issues management has with its employees. Have you ever heard of a company go through employee emails? IDS has a policy to go through your email sent inbox to check if you have been doing work. Not only that, they also go through your calendar and time sheet to see if it matches up and question you on the details. - If you go into the office, you have to pay for parking. There are no designated spots provided by IDS. You are forced to either pay or do what most employees do, park illegally in other parking lots adjacent to the office. This information is not disclosed to you once you are hired. You only find this out when you get to the office on your first day of work and ask for a parking pass. Parking isn't cheap. - You are deducted a certain amount from your paycheque after the 3 month probation period to pay for your insurance. This information again is not disclosed to you. - Serious trust issues, even if you are legitimately sick. They expect you to work from home when you are sick but don't say it openly for obvious reasons. - No career growth, you will be stuck doing the same thing for as long as you are there.

Invoice Delivery Services Response
8y
Since 2015, there has been a big shift in the company culture. It was hard to manage productivity when staff worked remotely. The company recognized that the work from home structure was not healthy, as individuals were isolated and worked in a void. This contributed to feelings of insecurity and a lack of support. As a small company there is tremendous opportunity for growth for those who excel.
