Intertec Systems

Is this your company?

As generic as it get for a mid-size auto parts manufacturer. The company is as exciting as its' name. - Master Scheduler Intertec Systems Employee Review

Pros

If you are looking to get into the auto industry, it's a decent place to learn the ropes. Overtime pay is standard for office staff working at manufacturing plants. The people are friendly enough and treat you as family. You can potentially get a job for the parent company Johnson Controls, which is a much better company.

Cons

The company doesn't stand much of a chance in this poor economy. Job security is an issue and layoffs are common. There isn't much room to grow and your customer treats you like garbage. This is not the place to be for any longer than a couple years.

Pros

Part of INOAC and Johnson Controls. A growing company at this time. Expanding into the Southern United States.

Cons

Being automotive manufacturing there are swings in this industry that cause layoffs and overloads of work as the pendulum swings each way. Intertec is part of this system.

Pros

While it is steadily slipping away, it still features small company charm and agility with support from JCI's manufacturing base and Inoac's foreign relationships.

Cons

It has basically become a division within JCI without full financial support and layers of inefficiency that wouldn't exist if it were actually a divison.
