I was called an hour before the job was to start for a 1099 arrangement. I had no time to read the contract. A verbal agreement of two hours at $85.00 an hour was struck. I was later told it was per project pay of $ 85.00 no matter how many hours. Had the equipment been in place and available for use as well as in good repair the two hour verbal estimate would have been good making the hourly rate around $32.00.
