Yikes! - Software Developer Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions Employee Review

A culture shock. Extremely micromanaged. Poor on-boarding process. Extreme Lack of Diversity. During my tenure it was nothing unordinary to hear insensitive remarks towards minorities who I also heard referred to as "Colored People". It seems this company did not hire anyone since the 70's. The atmosphere desperately needs diversity training. Daily unconscious bias. Felt like I time traveled to when segregation was first lifted. No minorities in managerial positions, no minorities in senior roles, none in the building. It's time to grow as people, this place is stuck in the 50's. Wouldn't recommend!
