I had a technical issue that lasts more than a day. Per their policy, I was able to bill only 30 minutes. I literally blocked the entire day for them, waiting for them to fix the issue, and they paid me only 30 minutes. Furthermore, when we finished all the batches and were waiting on more, they refused to pay us because we were not working. Let's think about it; if this were in person project, they would have paid us whether there was work or not. When I mentioned that to my supervisor, she said one of the perks for working from home that we can do what we want if there was downtime at work???!!
