Pros

Work life balance was good

Cons

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt after buying OpenMarket. They said the right things, and seemed keen to work with us. This was despite their shady reputation in the industry in the pas as they appeared to have addressed that in recent years. That fell apart quickly, with misleading statements, confusion and zero collaboration with OpenMarket. Any effort at Diversity, Equity and Inclusion died with lack of support from head office, sexual harassment was ignored and then all promises were broken and 'expensive' staff were laid off, presumably to improve the bottom line for the IPO. I expect that they will make a lot of money on the IPO, but will anyone stick around after that? It is doubtful.

We understand how you feel and value your point of view. We acknowledge that the changes after the acquisition process were challenging, although we have done everything possible to mitigate their impact. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to define a site identity in the US due to time zone challenges and dependencies on EU teams where many of our core projects are being developed. After long & careful review of many options, we came to a tough decision to reduce our Engineering teams' workforce in the US. Everyone leaving the company will be treated fairly and respectfully. The severance packages have been defined by the internal policy and we will support the team members in this process.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your positive remark on our our company culture. We are proud of the inclusive, diverse, collaborative environment that we have built and continue to nurture across all the regions and countries we work in. In terms of your feedback on remote work, flexibility is a key part of our approach and we have several types of work models designed to meet both employees and business needs, while keeping productivity and efficiency on a high level and getting the work done. Thanks again for being part of Infobip and for helping us grow stronger together.

Pros

Fast moving, quick decisions, lots of freedom to innovate.

Cons

Ownership is a "friends & family" deal, and most decisions are made based on who knows who rather than business needs.
