Pros

-Education budget which depends on your career level -Low stress -In-house projects -Internal dev/net conference -Young and ambitious engineers -Easy to progress

Cons

Terrible company culture - HR and management are always talking about some "core values" propaganda which no one truly knows which are. Company is trying too hard to pretend that it is something that it isn't, it makes it look really fake. Even this 'glassdoor transparent engaded employer badge' is one example of that because they are constantly making people to write positive reviews here. HR staff is always on the management side, it's like you are talking to management directly. Everything you say or ask will be instantly delivered to management. Most of HR is actually fine and nice, but unfortunately all decisions are in hands of two senior HR generalists (one in Pula and one in ZG) who are really unpleasant with their fake smiles and forced chit chat which could be pretty repulsive to most of employees (no offense). Micromanagement - I know that now someone will answer and say that it is "startup mindset, we are currently working on our policies, it's family atmosphere, etc etc". No, it isn't. Micromanagement is infobip's modus operandi, they formally have some nice company structure but it always comes to same - micromanagement. Incompetent team leaders and middle management - it is really easy to become team leader here. You just have to be in good relationship with management, never say anything negative or even better, never express your own opinion, just confirm everything management suggested. If you are from Pula it's a plus. Once you become TL you are untouchable, if half of your team quit their jobs it's not you, it's their fault, they are probably "not fit". No vision - if you are on top priority project it doesn't mean that this project won't be thrown in garbage in a few months. You come as frontend developer and then you must work as backend dev, if you complain about it you are black sheep. Or you are hired as iOS dev and then you have to work on java backend, if you complain about it you are treated as someone who is not flexible enough. You can't work remotely - these days every company offers working from home at least few days in week, but not infobip, no home office because management don't trust their employees. Low salaries - "money" is not one of the core values. Lack of transparency - in every segment. Side channels are used, no one will say what they mean directly to you, especially management. Bad performance management system - it's confusing, time-consuming, subjective and easy to manipulate with. And no, I couldn't come and talk to HR to solve these kind of issues. When someone says something like this they are blacklisted which means they could start searching for another job.

Pros

Fast moving, quick decisions, lots of freedom to innovate.

Cons

Ownership is a "friends & family" deal, and most decisions are made based on who knows who rather than business needs.
