Pros

They had pretty good insurance benefits.

Cons

Infinity Rehab is a big company and has several regions that I think are nice to work with. As it turns out, I did not have one of those regions. This was my first job out of school and that is difficult enough. I had three rehab directors my first few months of work. The building was a difficult building, butting heads with the therapy department. Despite those setbacks, I worked very hard and tried to do my best for patients. After making one mistake, I was watched with an eagle eye. The upper management micro-managed to the extreme. They watched my Facebook page, I received very mean and inappropriate emails that would make me feel horrible for weeks. It effected my morale and confidence as a therapist. Every single small mistake I made was told to upper management. At about 7 months, I was the longest term employee. I am not the only therapist who felt this way. I saw seasoned therapists completely dis-empowered by what they had experienced with management giving reprimands. I feel like the company did not trust us. A new grad left after her first day, because she was thrown in with no support. Meeting minutes and productivity was of the utmost importance and strictly enforced. It frequently was given more energy than the actual care we gave our patients. A lot of pressure on PTs to work with patients well over an appropriate/needed therapy time for RUGs. I now work for a different rehab company and realize the extent to how stressful and unfair that environment was. I am now paid more, not pushed, therapists are employed long term, and upper management treats me like a good person and competent professional. Do your research. Ask why the position is open.

Pros

Extremely flexible schedule with great support from direct leadership and above. Therapist run with emphasis on employee growth and satisfaction. Enjoy the employee engagement events annually where company provides funds for teams to get together and enjoy one another's company outside of work.

Cons

No paid holidays d/t nature of SNF setting and still needing care delivered; however, it's clear leadership makes every effort to approve all PTO when employees want.
