Pros
Fast-paced environment Revenue is growing
Cons
There is a deep culture of fear. Public humiliation is normalized both on Slack and in meetings. Do not believe the AI generated reviews below that have come in the last 3 months. Those are from the new People team that is realizing the company's reputation is in jeopardy. Communication is a mess at every level. Nobody knows what's going on and leadership seems to prefer it that way. There is heavy favoritism and politics. People fail upwards in spite of their results because Imprint rewards the loudest, most combative person in the room. It is not because they have experience or because they are great at their jobs but rather because they steamroll and undermine people. Getting ahead here means making sure someone else takes the blame when things go wrong but taking credit for their work if things go right. Teamwork is rare and it genuinely doesn't seem to be a skill people have developed. People are constantly leaving and taking all of their knowledge with them which means no one ever has enough information to actually finish a project. The tickets are a mess and you can expect to dig for context in thousands of random Slack threads. The people who do stay are leveled and pushed aside. Company values are performative. The first value is literally a business objective, not a value.
