Pros

After joining IPSEN in 2022, I was recently promoted to a management role. In my department, I lead a major organizational transformation, which I am supported in from the top down with no conflicting agendas amongst the different stakeholders. I work daily with operational staff, directors and vice president level and supported to achieve realistic goals in order to do so. If you are highly engaged and excited to join an industry wide revolution, through offering your insights and particular expertise and are particularly motivated to eliminate waste I would highly recommend you join Ipsen. Here, we believe and demonstrate daily in the benefits of a culture of collaboration and excellence that is on offer to all our employees through the employer value proposition, an impressive HR strategy and endless growth opportunities that can fit around your day-to-day job.

Cons

Although a smaller sized company, Ipsen is undergoing a massive transformation effort to adopt to the future ways of working to accelerate and increase the size of its development portfolio and continue the supply of existing medicine to its patients, breaking barriers to harmonize the common systems & processes across the business, making the best use of its available resources and tools and easily one of the best small - mid sized companies to work for!

Pros

The recruiter that I worked with was wonderful and very in tuned with my career goals and the type of team I wanted to be a part of. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was transparent on which roles he felt would be a good match based on the leadership, team, and career aspirations.

Cons

I did not have any cons related to my experience.

Pros

Ipsen continues to offer a mission‑driven environment where teams are genuinely committed to improving outcomes for patients and society, and that sense of purpose shows up in the day‑to‑day culture. Collaboration across functions is strong, and there are meaningful opportunities to contribute to strategy, development, and cross‑functional problem‑solving. We have an amazing team filled with valuable talents.

Cons

The pace of change and evolving priorities can sometimes create ambiguity, and some processes still require tighter alignment to reduce friction and improve consistency. Development pathways and communication around long‑term strategy can feel uneven depending on the team. However, Ipsen remains a place where impact, collaboration, and purpose are real strengths, with room to continue strengthening operational clarity and consistency as the organization grows, which is an achievement.
