Pros

Technical and professional growth was spurred by a constant pressure to perform and lack of supporting resources.

Cons

-Severely understaffed. -Any training that may or may not be given is hilariously inadequate. -Existing resources could be brilliant, but management fails to inspire & motivate. -Employees are viewed as a resource to be expended, no motivation to grow outside of becoming more valuable for the company's use. -An excessive number of internal meetings pollute calendars under the guise of uncovering roadblocks. What is supposed to accelerate employees exists purely as a way for management to micro-manage and waste time company-wide as each employee goes under the microscope for ridicule and criticism from management in a public forum. Daily. -Management lacks empathy on all levels from personal emergencies to bandwidth availability among staff. -Workload quantity and diversity increases exponentially. Salary increases minimally. When addressed, all new and to-be-defined duties are somehow already "part of the job". -Instruction & guidance are minimal, positive feedback virtually non-existent, harsh criticism abundant. -HR staffing and policies are laughable. -Benefits package is scant. -10 PTO days a year, use it or lose it. No increase for tenure/seniority. -Annual review process is a joke at best, and at worst offensive and morale-killing. -Giving feedback on projects is awkwardly forced and then consistently ignored.

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience. We are focused on our values and our mission. As an organization it is important for us to have the right person in the right seat and we regret that after three full years of being on the team that you left with such bad taste. We are a transparent and open organization with access to everyone. Having a remote global workforce a daily check-in process is not unusual for team members who take accountability seriously. Its unfortunate to hear that it was a burden. We have in-fact now overhauled this entire process. With more resources we have put more emphasis on training. We are making improvements in our hiring processes to avoid incompatible hires. There is exposure and opportunities for growth and to develop as a professional with both technical and customer facing roles. Our values around accountability, courage, being fair, growth minded and empathetic is what drives every individual and the company forward and sometimes the alignment on these values becomes apparent only over time. We wish you all the best in your future.

Pros

I have been with IOTAP for over two years now, and I can confidently say it's been an incredible journey. From day one, I was impressed by the company's commitment to innovation and excellence. IOTAP fosters a culture that encourages creativity and problem-solving. The management team truly values the input of every employee, creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute their ideas and take ownership of their work.

Cons

Time Zone Challenges: Due to the global nature of the company, there can be occasional communication challenges, especially when collaborating with teams across different time zones.
