Pros

Highly operational, UN pay scale, attracts a number of highly-motivated individuals, room to improve and scale up effective programmes, room for innovation

Cons

High turn over of staff, limited and short term contracts are often preferred by HR, number of long termers need to be reviewed and challenged, weak internal programmatic guidelines and policies, project based work (meaning hard to build a career within the organization)
