Pros
Workload - manageable, I can guarantee that you can have work-life balance here OT - Not that much, overtime is discouraged here Growth & Development - In my less than a year of stay in this company, I can say that there is growth here but the phase is a bit slow since some processes are still on migration stage. There are also trainings offered by the company, but if related to tasks or processes that you will be performing, they are only conducting knowledge transfer sessions. STA/LTA abroad - ING can assign you to their offices abroad (Amsterdam head office) for a short-term/long-term assignment if this is part of your individual development plan, but of course, there are conditions to it. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Cons
Promotion - I've noticed that they would rather hire new employees for senior roles than to promote their own employees. I see this as a big problem because this will affect attrition rate, the confidence and loyalty of the employees to the company. Growth - A bit slow in terms of growth, most tasks are routinary Salary increase - Very cautious in increasing salary. This will be based on your performance every year and not on the years of stay in ING, which in my opinion is a bit ridiculous because whether you are an underperformer or excellent performer, inflation still affects you. The salary increase should be applicable for all and let the performance affect the performance bonus instead.
