Pros
People are capable, large firm with opportunities, ambitious management. Balanced score card usage, broad range of targets. ING people are in general pleasant, knowledgeable, dependable. Good place to start career or build up career if you already have some work experience.
Cons
Salary scales, and step by step mobility does not reflect market value of employees. Sometimes you make hours like investment banker but paid like a clerk. Perks in banking becoming less, not just as consequence of crisis but also due to public attention.
